Genuine Asus X756UJ charger, is the short model of the series of the Asus notebooks, so if you know your laptop runs at 19v 3.42a, then this charger will work just as the original X756UJ charger supplied with your notebook, when new out of the box, this is Asus X756UJ ac adapter version which has clover power cable that fits into a square charging unit, as pre image, however some models within this series were supplied with a charging unit which has the plug fitted directly into the charger, this will work just fine with all these models as its simply a difference in design.
